After starting my career in interior design my creative ambitions led me to study for a City and Guilds in Stitched Textiles and I was instantly hooked! Dyeing paper, cutting printing blocks and splattering paint are now all in a days work and I couldn't have hoped for a more fulfilling career.
I particularly enjoy working with textured handmade felt and beautiful velvet devore but recent pieces have also included painting and stitching on paper and fabric. I am constantly exploring new ideas and techniques to keep my work evolving and don't limit myself to always using the same materials.

After taking early retirement from a career in business and administration I took the opportunity to explore my creative side by studying for a City and Guilds in Stitched Textiles. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and although Catherine creates all of the work I feel that I can now give creative advice as well as providing the business support required. It is also an advantage to have an in depth knowledge of our products when discussing it with customers and retailers.
