Both satin and velvet devoré combined with screenprinting and hand/machine stitching is the basis for a new range of work. Layers of dye are applied by hand to produce a more painterly effect before areas are removed with the devoré process. Detail may then be added through printing before finally stitching by hand, machine or sometimes a combination of the two.
